I wasted 4 minutes of my life this morning

My status on Facebook:

"Music just isn't what it use to be. I feel sorry for kids today. Their music is crap. I will be happy to pop in my CD's and remain out of the loop! :)"

Oh how true this is. I wasted 4 minutes of my life this morning. I happened to click on a youtube video of the new song "Friday". What a mistake that was. These poor kids today. The music that they are growing up with gags me. I am a country fan at heart but I enjoy metal as well. I can find good in almost any kind of music. Quoting a Timmy song:  "Some say it's too country. Some say it's to rock n roll. It's just good music if you can feel it your soul".
I find it hard to do that with today's crap on the radio.I take back my comment about Justin Beiber being the worst thing ever. At least from what I have seen he is humble and a decent person. Do I like his music? Hell no, but I at least respect him. 
I will continue to push Lexi towards country music. I'd rather hear her singing about badonkadonks rather than boobies and booties OMG!

iPad Raffle!

As many of you know, my cousin Billy was born with Spina Bifida.
Him and his parents are very active in the Spina Bifida Association of Tampa Bay.
They are holding a raffle to raise money.

Billy has had a rough few months. He has had surgeries on his shunt and has been in and out of the hospital a few times. Nothing would make him happier than raising a ton of money for a wonderful cause that helps him and hundreds of others with spina bifida!
